I known.. This adds busybox for gingerbread so for now on all scripts will require busybox. This was the last one of it's type which doesn't require busybox.

tipstir you are like a god for this tablet

whatever happens just keep making progress.

I feel as in no time you will have a real HC version for this tablet(with the progress you make, anything can happen).

Yes because its really not workng for me. A market search for fscebook, skype, google voice, or most other apps still shows nothing. The three files are just sitting in the /data/temp folder the script pushed them to without doing anything.

Try this solution to get rid of the "-18 error".

Mount the drive as R/W with Root Explorer

I cant access all the apps in the market.
Probably beacause of the "Not compatible with your device Error" when trying to see the apps with my PC browser.

You did change the locations from default. Which is US/NewYork. I get 99.5% I have figured out how to get 110% but that's won't be out yet, still testing that on another tablet I support.

Test the default of US/NewYork and see if your apps come down. Skpe, Facebook google earth come for me under this EMFPV1.0.

The market disables so many applications for kyros owners because it isn't a cellphone, but many of these apps don't even need cellular function to work.

Not the case anymore. I have access to everything about 99.5% on my 7015. If you change the region then you might have issues with some files coming down most of it based on your google location. So you might want to Add a new google account and use that for Market Place only. I would start using USA address, like NewYork.

I'm in the US, but I'll turn off the wifi-gps feature.

Go under settings or use the Wizard under ES File manager or Mange Apps
Then add account. I did that I Flash 10.3 player appeared.

Which OS and MOD are you using?

I am using 2.3.3 with the honeycomb mod. I upgraded with the 2.3.1 pack to have the honey green mod, and then had the honeycomb mod applied over it.

I am confused a bit. Are you saying you applied the 2.3.3. mod over your 2.3.1. install? If so, that is the wrong way.
You have to flash 2.3.3. like you did 2.3.1. then install the mod.

Yes don't mix images or mods unless instructed too. Just too much fishing for answer to try to solve your issue.

No, I installed 2.3.1, then used the 2.3.1 to 2.3.3 upgrade package released by tipstir to have a native 2.3.3 install, and then wanted to do a honeycomb upgrade, but saw that it said to do a honeygreen upgrade first, so I did that before the honeycomb. I don't think I did anything that I wasn't directly instructed to.

hey all i am completely in awe of you all and your knowledge of computers. i bought a used coby 7015 that has been rooted ( which made me very happy) but it doesnt upload apps from market anymore. it did at one time since there are a number of apps already uploaded ( google/facebook/maps etc) i am looking for someone who can upgrade it again so i can get netflixs if possible and maybe games but thats not important. i want to download and use some of the apps when i travel abroad ( wifi search,maps,travel stuff). i live in new york and can mail or deliver it and i am willing to compensate for your time.

I have this market installed on my Kyros 2.3.3 OEM#1 and it works great. However, the movie rental does not pop up for me and I do not have an install button for YouTube or Google Books. Do I need to adjust my build.prop?

I' m having an issue with Gingerbread 2.3.1 OEM#1 And Market - After doing the 12 steps described for installing Gingerbread 2.3.1 , I cannot download certain apps like Mixzing and morte music player because it does not appears a download button on market - Can someone help me solve this problem ?

Works on 7022?

On my 7012 I have everything going but I can't get market to work tried everything I know. It says I have a -110 error. Can anyone help?

Do you have titanium backup installed? I read elsewhere that freezing system apps can cause this. It said to unfreeze the apps.

I need some help. I purchased the 7012 to test things on. I got it before it was even on the forum. I have done alot to it and I usually test ROMS out on it before I put it on my 7015 which is running bulldog 1-14-12 and has all the extra apps that are recomended and running great. I have also have that ROM on my 7012 but no added apps because my Market will not download I cant Download anythingfrom get jar market or the web. I went on to Android Market on my computer and it sent the app right to my 7012 it showed it downloading but again didn't take. I have clockworkmod and can restore ROM and do everything with it. I can sideload certain apps but not all. I just need the Market to work or I will just continue to use it to test ROMS. I am wondering what setting or file is stopping me from downloading. Can someone help.

Did you use any of my KTZROM-Updates because you just can't install market you might be missing the rest of the files for market. If your tablet didn't have it in the first place.

Simple market fix without installing any patch:

Able to access the latest youtube and FLASH v11+ ... if it says your device is not compatible with them, do this...

Set Dpi to 160 (for 7" devices) with LCD Density Modder off market, REBOOT (you should see a difference like smaller icons and more screen space, if not click APPLY ON BOOT), go to manage applications, select Market, clear data, start Market... Install all the latest version apps... Enjoy!

You can revert back to 200 Dpi after updating all your apps, but Market might break again! Just redo these steps if so...

This is for 7" devices! The larger the screen the larger the Dpi needs to be but using a standard unit like 160, 240... The LCD Density changer should have all the standard settings for 8" and 10" devices...

The deal is, set the STANDARD DPI for your SIZE screen device and get the CORRECT VERSION APPS FOR YOUR STANDARD SCREEN SIZE!!! Your CORRECT version of APPS might not be the latest and greatest (buggy) version!!!
